House Call Pet Grooming
If you have anxious, behaviorally challenged, or senior pets, we’re here to provide the best in low‑stress care. We understand that pets — and their people — can’t always make it to a traditional grooming salon. That’s why we come to you and work directly with your pet in the comfort of their home.We bring everything we need to get your pet clean. All we need is a tub or sink and a space to work. Don’t worry about the hair, because we clean up, too!If traditional salons are a hassle or you simply enjoy the convenience of house‑call grooming, we would love to book you an appointment!
ABOUT SCRUB A NUB
We are a queer and neurodivergent‑owned trio of friends who came together right here in the heart of Tulsa, Oklahoma. When we met amidst the chaos of the pet grooming world, we realized we shared the same goals and values around pet care and the pet services industry. Each of us has experienced the consequences of this unregulated field, and together we are turning our shared struggles and strengths into Scrub A Nub.We built this business for stability, for community, and for the chance to give back through mutual aid and outreach. Our impoverished backgrounds have pushed us to fight for economic equality in the pet service industry and to create a beacon of hope in the harsh financial realities of today. Through sweat, blood, tears, and a lot of laughter, we’ve made it this far — and we hope you’ll share this journey with us as we grow and expand Scrub A Nub into everything we know it can be.Our mission is bigger than pet grooming — we want to make life even just a little bit easier for both the pets and humans of Tulsa.We are only getting started, and we can’t wait to expand and get down to the work we came here to do. Below is a list of plans we have in store for Scrub A Nub:⭐ Collaborating and networking with local animal rescues and shelters to help groom adoptable pets and connect animals with fosters or adopters.⭐ Building a wealth of local resources from as many organizations as possible to connect people with low‑cost pet services, housing assistance, food and clothing support, childcare assistance, and more.⭐ Becoming a SAFE‑certified facility once we acquire a storefront.⭐ Hosting a space for local minority creatives of all kinds to show and sell their art, gaining more visibility in the community.⭐ Hosting a free pantry or donation drop‑off where people can bring canned or dry goods to support organizations that feed the unhoused.⭐ Creating a separate fund to help support low‑income pet owners who may need assistance with pet prescriptions, vet bills, or grooming services.
MEET THE TEAM
Three years caring for rescue dogs in a boarding facility, plus a year of mentorship under a show‑dog groomer with 20+ years of experience. Four years as a professional groomer. Trained in pet first aid, CPR, and continuing education.
Accrued three years of dog bathing experience, along with volunteer work in a cat shelter and hands-on experience with feral cats. Now mentoring to become a pet groomer.
Two years of experience as a dog bather, working confidently with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Known for his calm presence and the way animals naturally gravitate toward him.

All sessions take place at the location of your choice. After your shoot, we’ll send watermarked proofs for you to review and approve.
